Michael Tortorich sums up the podcast in the My Uncle Vinnie Blog Wrap Up:

Vinnie leads off this episode talking about his views on Coca-Cola. Anna and Vinnie then go over some of the most outlandish foods available. Later, they get into the marketing of antioxidants. Vinnie brings up a conversation he and yours truly had about secondhand smoke. He then makes an argument that his generation was always around smoking, so therefore it’s not so bad. I disagree. The Massive Attack reference in the title of this podcast references Vinnie’s ongoing obsession with the song “Diamond in the Back.”

Vinnie leads off this episode by bringing up the “Do not abandon your baby” sign he saw on a coroner van. They then get the anonymous Dr. X on the phone. After introducing Dr. X, they get into a discussion of “boot camp” programs. Vinnie even tells my story about a boot camp I went to where the instructor was the heaviest person there, yelling at other heavy people. Later, they talk about being on time (i.e. Lombardi Time). That leads to discussion of heart rates. Stick around until the end because Dr. X talks about the weirdest things she’s found up people’s butts.

They lead off with a discussion about a groping incident between Andrea and boyfriend Matt LeBlanc. Vinnie goes on to talk about his dog, Stella, who got into some pills (HTP5)and narrowly escaped death. Vinnie happened to catch her having a seizure, so he grabbed her and ran out of the house with the bottle. Fortunately, there was a happy ending to the ordeal. Later, Andrea talks about going “full Wisconsin” on the food at the Golden Globes. Serena Scott Thomas calls in later, and they talk about chi running. Vinnie then mentions that visitors can sign up for the free newsletter. You can find the form on www.vinnietortorich.com.
